This is a one-of-one, heavily modified custom Gretsch-style guitar, created in the uncompromising spirit of Malcolm Young and used on screen in the Bourbon Sons cover of “Thunderstruck.”

It appears in the video.

Concept and Provenance

This guitar was built as a stripped-down, purpose-driven rhythm instrument, modeled after the minimalist, aggressive approach that defined Malcolm Young’s most iconic guitars.

Nothing on this instrument is decorative.

Following filming, the guitar was preserved in its exact production state.
